This is a new event organized by Priority Area “Institutional Capacity and Cooperation“ of the EU, Strategy for the Danube Region, the Foster Europe Foundation and Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment of the Republic of Moldova and with the suport of Austrian Development Cooperation.
The new event is special by being regional. Yesterday was the first day of the event, where Moldovan Investment and Export Promotion Organization (MIEPO) was represented by executive director.
“It is a big opportunity to be part of the agenda of this important event. We would like to express our full support to all the actions related to the implementation of this strategy and cooperation between fourteen countries members of Danube region. When we speak about cooperation we have to know what are the business opportunities of each country member of the region, and today is a good place to show what Moldova can offer in this regards”, said Iulia Petuhova, Executive Director of MIEPO.
The event is planned to take place two days 26-27th of October 2017 in Chisinau, Moldova. The aim is to bring together local and regional key stakeholders, public and private financing institutions and NGOs, involved in the development of capacity building on all levels of the Republic of Moldova as part of the Danube Region in the framework of the EUSDR.
It is a big opportunity to identify different public and private funding sources and initiate better communication among funding institutions as well as better coordination and communication between funding instruments and project promoters.
The event will contribute to identify the needs of the region in terms of barriers of cooperation among stakeholders and provide information on best practice examples, enhancing the capacities of cooperation between relevant actors.
